I have a terribly short neck (can't really wear turtlenecks- too much fabric, even the petite ones!!), plus not a very great chin-line (prone to a little waddle and, ahem, duplication if I gain weight). For years and years, I never wore necklaces of *any* kind because I didn't like to draw attention to my neck.
Since going over the age of 40, I've started to get some crepeiness on my neck too - especially right at the base of it. Very little wrinkles on my face - but BOY is my neck showing my age!!!!
Oddly enough, I'm learning that the right bold necklace (not necessarily choker-length) can somehow confuse the eye and draw attention away from these flaws...
(or so I tell myself ... hee hee)
