are these sleeves too puffy and odd?

I do not know about this printed shirt.
I have posted it with and without layers. What do you think? Are the sleeves unflattering?
Anything else not working or should I keep?

For some reason, I prefer the blouse under the sweater vest. I'm not sure if it's the way you've got your shoulder from having your hand on your hip, but I'm not as fond of the blouse on its own. I think it's a great pop of color in the second outfit! I guess I say don't toss it yet

I think the sleeves are fine from what I can see from the way you're standing - they look pretty structured and not "girly". I really like the print on you. I am not sure about this particular layering though - I think the belt pulls the hem up too high. I also think it might work better with a color other than black, but maybe it's the style of the vest that is throwing me off.

I agree with marianne - the sleeves are fine, not too puffy at all, the blouse looks great altogether - triffic print - and I prefer it without the layering in the first pic.

I really like the sleeves, actually--they're much more classic and refined than most of the puffs you see these days--and I like it both layered and on its own.

I think the blouse is very pretty on you. I prefer it without the top layer. I usually do not care for a top layer that has the crew neck, I prefer a V neck or scoop neck or something like that.
I think the sleeves are fine because they are longer than some little puff sleeves that would look like a little girl's dress. This is more of a grown up sleeve. I like it on you.

I love the print of the blouse and I don't think that the sleeves are too puffy. I like it both on its own and as a layering piece -- but I'd go with a color other than black for the sweater vest and perhaps a v-neck. The colors are great for your coloring.

Thanks everyone, I am still unsure about where the sleeve hits in my arm.It is definitely a new look. Does it look too big in the waist area? Is it too short for jeans?
