Either way, they are awesome. My honey brought them home as a surprise, to show appreciation for how hard I've worked this semester. So sweet.
I spent a long time last year looking for the 'right' heeled sandals -- they had to have wide straps (for reasons of comfort, and also aesthetic preference), have a chunky or wedge heel for walkability, be black and preferably a little edgy (that word is overused, but I don't know a better one). I never did find them. It occurs to me that these booties with cutouts will probably fill that wardrobe spot. They look good with almost everything I own -- pencil skirts, short skirts, full skirts, skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, wide leg jeans -- you name it, they go. And they are very comfy. I'm so excited.
