Can you stand another Zara post? My order came today. Please help me decide what to keep and what to return. I have my thoughts but am curious about your impressions so will wait to say much more.

Up for review and discussion:

Pics 1-3: This Zara jacket, and the navy booties.

(Please try to ignore the sock lines on my legs).

Pics 5-7: Grey cotton silk dolman sleeved sweater -- with homage to MaryK's Pinterest copy.

This sweater is also available in a navy. It is lightweight (more a "top" in my climate than a sweater, proper) but feels quite nice.

This cotton-y turtleneck in fuchsia. For reference, it is the same size as the grey sweater. Obviously a different cut, but I mean, really...shows you that sizing really is inconsistent even within the brand.

This cropped sweater.

I will mention one concern. Are the booties too much exactly the same sameness as my SW Chelsea booties? These are navy, shinier, a bit taller in the shaft, mixed media, pointier toed. But. The overall effect is quite a lot the same. See Pic 10, where I am wearing one of both for comparison.

I have a huge sugar eye for this general style of bootie, I must confess.

Yes, on the jacquard navy jacket, grey top and booties.
Nay on everything else. Especially a large nay for the vertical striped top.

Love the jacket and the striped sweater! I was torn on ordering but I think I need to after seeing it on you! I think the booties look different enough to have both in your closet.

Triple yay on the grey top. I was thinking, "Of course she has to keep this and wear it with her..." *flicks to next photo* "...stripy tube like MaryK!" Yes.

Fuchsia turtleneck is a nay from me. The fit doesn't suit you, and it looks too cottony, somehow. I love cotton, but sometimes cotton knits are stiff looking and fade at points of stress. I think this turtleneck might do that.

I really want to like the vertical striped sweater, but I think the scale is off, somehow. So, nay from me. I could probably be convinced by the right styling. Or maybe this would look better on a bigger person?

I can't see enough bootie detail on my phone screen. (What did I just say?) They look lovely but extremely similar to your other pair from here.

Sir Ceit could definitely wear the striped sweater with panache! It looks rugged but refined. I personally think it's a touch too rugged for you.

I really like the jacket on you and could see you getting a ton of use from it. If the booties are comfortable keep because the color is great and hard to find. I like the grey top and can see multiple outfits with this.

I really like the grey sweater on you and it's perfect with the striped skirt! The blue blazer and navy booties look great on you too, but I'm concerned that they're too similar to what you already have--don't you already have a blue floral blazer from Zara? I prefer it with the black turtleneck in #4--#1 is very Angie-esque with the buttoned up blouse, but I dunno...the word "waiter" popped into my head (sorry!). Maybe it's the print of the blazer. The fuchsia turtleneck looks to tight and the striped top looks you're wearing it backward--I feel like it would look better if you showed some skin in a V neck. Also the wide spacing between the stripes makes you look wider than you really are. The booties seem very similar to the ones you already have. The grey sweatshirt is fantastic though!

My favorites are booties and grey top. Yes, your SW have a similar vibe but not the same and navy is a nice option to have when you wnat dark but not black...and I like them
I am not sure about th jacket. Something fels wrong but I cannot identify what it is. I like it better with t-neck than with the shirt.. or maybe this is just my fatigue talking?:-)
I would return the rest.

I'm short on time but I LOVE the jacket and the grey sweater. I think the booties look similar in the photos but I think if they are different colors they would be different enough--especially because they fit so well around the ankle! The vertical stripe pullover overwhelms your frame--to my eye. I have a poison eye for turtlenecks but this one looks nice on you. Nice haul!

My uninfluenced first thoughts; - love the jacket on you, love the booties (I just ordered these today), love the grey top. I think the fuchsia T-neck looks like it's a little snug but I love the color. A big NAY to the vertical striped top. It took me a minute to see you past the top. As far as the comparison of the booties - are your other booties black? If so I'd say they're different enough but I have a hard time saying no to shoes of any kind.

Love the navy jacquard blazer. That's killer amazing deluxe. No brainer keep.

I own those ink booties so I know how amazing they are. Must keep. Different to your SW's by quite a bit to my eye - trendier. You love dark shoes and have the climate for booties.

I love the grey pullover next.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and opinions! This has been helpful! (Well, cough cough, especially since most of you agree with me).

Here are my more detailed thoughts for what they are worth:

1. I had low expectations for this jacket but ordered it anyway. What a pleasant surprise. The quality is pretty good! Those buttons on the cuff actually work! Not that this is a must-have, but it's an unusual detail. Angie used the word "deluxe" and that sort of encapsulated how I feel. Well, okay, the buttonhole stitching could be neater, but we are talking about Zara, after all. And just looking at it -- IRL it has a kind of depth and texture and special quality that doesn't completely translate to the screen.

The fabric has a high cotton content and it feels crisp and yet comfortable. The shoulders are a bit snug when I reach forward (i.e. for activities like driving) but otherwise the fit seems perfect. The colour IRL is fantastic. I have been wanting a jacquard patterned item for some time (remember the ill-fated jeans that never arrived?) Mr. Suz gave a big thumbs up.

Sveta, Natalie, thank you for your honesty; no doubt I will be able to do more careful styling later on; I just threw it on with a few maybes and took pictures very fast. I will play with it more carefully later. Natalie, the other jacket is a spring/ summer item only in my climate -- very different fabrication. So this is definitely not a duplicate item. This is actually a very good all-season piece in my climate. It won't offer genuine warmth but it will offer an extra light layer.

2. Booties. The leather is pretty stiff, and the heel is very loose on me (Diana, hear my roar). But they did soften a bit with a few hours' wear in the house. They do fit. And I love this kind of bootie irrationally and love how these look, regardless. Weirdly, the fact that they come up a tiny bit higher than my SW booties makes them seem a bit more flattering to me with dresses. Who would have thought it? It's more like a shoe with a little ankle sock, really. Sort of a fun look.

3. Grey sweater. I like it a lot and feel a bit tempted to duplicate in navy. But will probably hang on at least for the moment.

4. Fuchsia turtleneck -- too tight, not right. Ah well.

5. Striped sweater: I had high hopes for this but it is no good for me -- too much. I hope it works for Ceit!

Yes on 3! You need a gray pullover twin- me! I've never ordered from Zara.
The jacket is mucho more fabulosos than the jsckets you are tossing.
