The timing of that article is so strange given Caroline's announcement that she's not blogging anymore. I didn't mind her most recent capsule, but felt it wasn't accessorized enough. That's my own personal taste though.
About a month ago I filled two big garbage bags with clothes from my closet and dresser, and donated them. I'm down to about 40 items that I'm wearing every day, not counting workout clothes and pajamas. I also have some seasonal winter stuff pushed off to the side in my closet - some of them I suspect I will be getting rid of next year.
Anyway, it is so, so, so much easier getting dressed every day. And I am learning that even 40 pieces might be more than I need. Honestly, it's been totally liberating! I haven't bought a stitch of clothing in the past month. In June I will replace my basic summer tees, buy a new pair of jeans, and pick up some summer sandals. But that's it.
