San the pilot light on the gas hot water had gone out and I wanted DH to light it for me - then I needed time for it to warm up. But something went wrong with that plan and so just had a cold shower as I was worried I had left the dye in too long - Will let you know if I am now an arctic blonde!

I won't give up Rute - I have done the hardest part which was making the appointments (I am not very confident initiating phone calls).

And I am happy to report that despite the extra dying time my hair has not gone arctic blonde - it is probably not noticeably different at all!
