Hi Everybody!

I am posting my week's outfits here (except for Saturday, which I spent at home in lounge wear). I enjoy seeing what people wear day to day, and Tanya said doing it challenged her to be smart casual everyday. She was right! It was challenging, but it was fun, and kept me in line. I'm really working on honing my wardrobe, to only keep "the cherries," so feedback in this direction would be appreciated!

Monday: My first "official" day with the watch and red lipstick. You've all seen this outfit before. I got lots of compliments on it--thanks everyone for helping me put this together!

Tuesday: Anne Fontaine blouse, and the J. Crew jacket I hemmed the sleeves on.

Wednesday: I have kind of a retro thing going with my Martin + Osa dress. I just got it back from the alteration place this week. I needed a little cardi for indoors at work, so I added a cropped black one, but I think I'd like to wear a full length, more traditional one. Any ideas on color (besides cream and black)?

Thursday: It was rainy and gray here in Austin today (not that I'm complaining), so I decided to wear yellow to be bright and cheerful. I think this cardi might be too small though, so I am planning on replacing it with the Tartine cardigan from J. Crew, which is almost exactly the same color, and has a little ruffle at the neckline.

Friday: Went out to dinner with some friends. My Banana Republic top I wore in the "red lipstick" thread and my J. Crew shorts. I'd really like to get a black v neck cardigan to wear over this.

Sunday: For my date with Christian Bale (oh yeah....Brendan was there too). Antje suggested wearing the flower belt with a shirt dress, and I like how it turned out, it's kind of fun:

It is you that is stunning, and all the outfits are superb too! I love everything, can not pick a single favorite. Everything has something different going on about it! Absolutely fantastic!

Re: cardi for the print dress, i think the right shade of pink or cobalt/teal blue would be very pretty, maybe even yellow. And I do not think that the yellow cardi is too small, I'd just wear it over a slightly longer cami than the one you are wearing in the photo.

P.S. If I were a boy, i would have serious crush on you now

I love all of these outfits! Your new sundress is great- really sweet and feminine. A pink cardigan would probably look good with it. I agree with Tanya about your yellow cardigan, it doesn't look too small to me and actually it makes me wish I had one of my own! Also love your gold and white bags. Your outfit for your date with Batman is super-cute!
Now I feel motivated to do a whole week of photos myself, if it means I could look this put-together.

I love all those outfits, too. It's probably a little too predictable, but I think a navy blue or ink blue cardigan would look great with that dress.

Ana, what a great week you had! You looked super everyday! My favorite is the shirtdress and the flower belt. What about your yellow cardigan makes you say it's too small?

monday: the blouse looks great belted like that! perfect accessories, too

tuesday: love the AF black blouse - neckline is great! not sure i love the sleeves of the blazer - they look a little baggy, but still it looks just fine.

wednesday: love love love the dress! it looks nice with the black cardi, but i'd prefer green, blue, red, or maybe even purple. i like the gold shoes and bag, but not necessarily together.

thursday: love the outfit! the colors are great together. if you're worried the sweater is too small, you could try wearing it unbuttoned. with such a great color tho, im not sure id get rid of it. if you didn't point it out, i wouldn't have noticed any sizing issues.

friday: great color - love the necklace.

sunday: perfection! i love the yellow belt! this look really suits you

overall, a very stylish week. looks like youre really getting some use out of the red lipstick!

These are such great pieces and you wear them so well. The red lipstick completed the high fashion pieces. You look absolutely fabulous!

I am speechless and that is not a common occurrance for me. You are stunning, the lipstick cinches the deal even better. I love your first outfit the best followed by the yellow rose and dress but they're all great. Watch out or I might become a stowaway in your closet soon

Oh my goodness! I don't even know where to begin, thank you all so much!

Well, I definitely was inspired and got lots of help/feedback/ideas from everyone on this forum. I felt super cute in the shirt dress with the flower belt, thanks to Antje and others who posted and told me to keep it as a belt. I have an olive green safari shirt dress that I am thinking of trying it with (we'll have to see how it turns out), with a red tank and white skinny jeans. If I like it, you'll probably be seeing that here sometime in the future.

Wearing the red lipstick and white watch both added a lot to my outfits over the past week, and it's been kind of fun/comforting to have that constant throughout every outfit. I think it's something I'm going to keep doing.

Thanks for all the suggestions on cardi color for the orange and cream dress. All of the colors sound so good, I have a lot to think about and decide on.

I think the yellow cardi is a little small because it's pretty tight around my ribcage and bust, and when I button it up all the way it sort of gaps around the buttons. Plus, it's very thin merino wool, so I walked past a 3 way mirror and got a load of my back, and you can see my back ripples through the sweater (hee hee). The sweater is a size small, and really, I'm a medium (but it was on sale and I loved the color, etc). So now that I have a chance to replace it with essentially exactly the same thing only bigger, I think I'll do it, and pass it on to a happier home.

Thank you again, everybody for the amazing comments and feedback. You all make me feel so good, and inspire me every day. Posting outfits from everyday (and knowing that I was going to do that) really kept me in line! I'm looking forward to seeing all of your outfits on here soon!

You look fantabulous in that shade of green that you wore to the movies with the white shorts. I think my favorite color combination though was the yellow cardi with the red necklace.

I loved Lanni's suggestion of a pink cardi with it! That would look so sweet!

Now I have to ask....what kind of bra do you wear with that dress??

The orange and cream one? No bra!

No, just kidding, I could never get away with that. I wear a strapless bra. I don't have a Chantelle one yet, so I have my VS one from last summer that is still in good shape. It will probably have to get me through until I have my "everyday" Chantelle collection built up, because I really try to avoid clothing that I will have to wear a strapless bra with (so I would get more use out of a regular bra). The band of the dress under the bust helps to keep everything in place.

I know everyone's already said it - but WOW. You look great the whole week. My favorite is the blue dress with the yellow belt! I'm inspired - maybe someday I'll be able to post a whole weeks worth of amazing outfits.
