Hello everybody!

These are some of my outfits from this past week. I realized that having to take photos of my outfits and post them here really makes me think about what I'm wearing, and encourages me to shop my closet and make new things with what I have, so I'll try to post my outfits weekly or bi-weekly. I didn't get all of last week, but I will try to be more thorough from now on.

Comments and suggestions as always are much appreciated. For instance, I think Wednesday's outfit needs a waist belt (black), and I'm not crazy about Friday's outfit, although I am so happy with my cheetah print swing jacket (inspired by Antje). I'd love some suggestions for wearing it. I think it looks good with a pencil skirt, but it's kind of dressy look.

If any of you are thinking of posting outfits, I'd highly encourage it, because it helps you learn a lot. Seeing photos of my outfits helps me see what I might do differently next time. Plus, I just love seeing what you all wear, how creative you all are, and how much your styles shine through your outfits. It's very inspiring for me.

Ana, you look fabulous! I really love when you post and am very excited to hear you will do so more often. I try to post almost every outfit I wear out of the house and it's excellent way to keep me from wearing something sloppy.

My favorite is Monday outfit, the belted denim jacket and skirt are superb on you. The belt for Wednesday doesn't have to be black,a pop of color would be very nice. I'd try your cheetah jacket over fitted simple black knit top and denim pencil skirt, with red shoes.

Your outfits all look great. I think you are brave to wear the cheetah jacket, but that's coming from a neutrals girl. I like Tanya's idea for it!

Monday's outfit is FANTASTIC and I hope I locate my denim jacket soon... I want to try belting it!

I can't get over how amazing your hair looks! I know that has nothing to do with your post but it's SO gorgeous on you!

That said, I think all your outfits are incredible, as usual. I don't think you need a belt on Wednesday's outfit. Your waist still shows.

I'm not a big fan of animal print so my advice might not be helpful, but I think leopard looks best with red somehow. Maybe a red buttondown?

THose Friday Jeans fit perfect and look great! What brand are they? All around you look fab- so classy. I like Wed outfit and especially the look on your face. Great job on all of them.

Ooooh, love love your photos. My fave -which is hard to pinpoint, as there is lots of great style to admire! is probably the Monday outfit, too, not just because of the stylish belted denim jacket, but also because of the fabulous skirt, so chic!

Of course I totally dig your cheetah print jacket! I think it looks great with the pencil skirt, but you can also try it over a long slim layering top over jeans (many colors would work). Might it even work over a white button down shirt? I'd give it a try. And just like Tanya and Maya, I'd also suggest trying a little red in the outfit (or maybe as the purse), I think it's always swell with cheetah or zebra.

I'm still swooning over your white coat Ana, it's so beautiful. I don't know how you do it, but you always look so elegant and at ease in your outfits.
My absolute favourite is Monday with your belted denim jacket and that incredible skirt (is it DVF?). You must be turning heads where ever you go!!

I cannot pick a favorite either... and agree that you rock a 10 in each and every one!! Wow. I'm blown away.

And I have to say that your hair color is growing on me!! I particularly like it in the last photo with the specs, which are out of this world fabulous. It seems that the color has lightened up?

I think the coolest thing is that I've seen all these pieces before, but you've recycled and re-invented them to make new outfits.... it's clear you have a carefully chosen wardrobe that really works for you!

Otherwise, I'm simply envious that your weather is warm enough to go out in leather jackets and such. I am in a style rut and getting very tired of warm coat, cardigan, hats, gloves, scarfs, skinnies and boots. Can't wait for it to warm back up to at least 40 degrees again... or at least, warm enough to go without socks and warm enough to wear a jacket instead of a wool or puffer coat.

Thank you for posting your outfits. You look amazing! I love the cheetah print jacket.
Yesterday I spent way too much time reading the "Surprise Me" selections from Nina Garcia's book on the fashion reading thread. One was that every woman should have a little bit of animal print in her wardrobe. The advice was to keep everything else simple and sleek to let the animal print be the focal point.

I love how you wore it with denim for smart casual and love the white shirt with ruffle collar. Maybe changing out the white shirt for a simple long knit layer in black or chocolate would give a different look that's still not dressy.

Dee-lish! My favorite is also the Monday outfit but all or your outfits are FANTASTIC. For the cheetah print jacket, I second Tanya's idea except maybe a black woven shirt and red flats. Really, the white works too.

All outfits are wonderful. My fave, like many others, is Monday. So cute, especially the skirt. I also agree that some red would spice up Friday's outfit, but it's still cute the way it is. And can I just say that white & black coat is simply amazing.

Great job, and I agree with posting outfits. I'm just starting to do that myself, and it really does make me think before I get dressed.

Thanks for the suggestions on how to wear the cheetah jacket. I think I will try it with my denim pencil skirt after I get it altered. I'm currently on the hunt for red shoes and I think I found a pair. I wasn't sure if red would be too bold and crazy with the cheetah, which is why I kept it subdued. But I really like the idea of red with animal print, so I think I'll go for it since you all have been very encouraging.

Dee--the jeans are from Express. They are starting to get worn out, so I'm getting some jeans to replace them.

Shiny--my hair has lightened up. I like it, but I've found I really miss my blonde hair, so I'm thinking of going back at my next hair appointment. I don't know, maybe I'll keep it until the time after that.

Juli--the heels are 3.5"! I can't even believe it, but they are Me Too brand, so they have lots of cushioning and stretch a bit so they are not too tight. I can wear them pretty comfortably walking around, but definitely not 8 hour walking shoes. I'd recommend them for doing a mix of sitting for long periods and walking, like if you worked a desk job or something.

Inge--I did see the post you made, and tried to buy the shoes, but they weren't available in white and black, only beige and black. I might still order the beige, since it's a good neutral for shoes. Thank you for finding that for me. The skirt is DKNY.

Patience--that's right! You and Sarah both need new specs. We need to get on that, don't we?
Sarah--yes, *this* is the skirt, hee hee. I'm glad you've seen it now so you can help me figure out other things to wear it.

Ana, you're breathtaking. Talk about fantastic outfits. My absolute favourite is Monday's outfit. It's one of my top 5 YLF outfits of all time, if not my absolute favourite. I wasn't sure about that graphic skirt when you first posted it weeks ago, but now I love it like crazy. The red glasses, mustard cami, and red bag just make it all perfect.

I love your yellow flats, too. What brand are those? And is that a dress in your first outfit? LOVE. Great cream bag, too.

Is your cropped leather jacket by Bebe? I think I saw it in the store window the other day!
