Here are my outfits for the past week!

I wasn't crazy about the emerald green knit top and the sleeveless cardigan combination (I felt like it lacked structure), but it was fun wearing the polka dot tunic. It has an asymmetrical neckline that I think is really interesting (you can't see it in that particular photo). That's what I wore to the Nordstrom Rack opening here in Austin. The store was pretty picked over by the time we got there, so I will wait a few weeks and head back to see what the place is really like. The jeans from the outfit with the Raybans and white denim jacket were swapped from Danja, and the cheeta print ballet flats are from Tanya.

My tall Doc Marten boots arrived today as well. I'm really excited! I ordered the black. They are about 3/4" too tall, so I am going to see if I can get them shortened, because otherwise, they are perfect!

You are stunning in all pictures. I love the first outfit. I think the shoes and the scarf work so beautifully together. I also love that you can wear orange pants so well. You are gorgeous in the polka dot dress. I also love the olive green top with the white jacket. I think you are so creative and full of spunk in your looks.
How do you get boots shortened? I never heard of that- is it the heel?

Ana- you look fabulous in all your outfits, but I do think my favorite is the first one. For some reason I'm really drawn to the effortlessly casual style of jeans and scarves. Love your orange pants too though-- I woulnd't try that in a million years! Thanks for sharing.

Jean, I have never tried it either, but what I was thinking of doing was just seeing if they could basically cut 1" off the top of the shaft of the boot. When I sit down, it kind of jabs into the back of my knee, and it gaps a little at the top, too. We'll see if it's possible, and if it is and turns out well, I will let everone know it is a possibility.

Ana, I love your new fringe, my favourite looks are the first with lush scarf, the polka dot dress and the last look with the bretton top and orange trousers. I would not have thought of pairing the striped tee with those trousers but it looks fabulous, fun and chic!

All the outfits look great! I really like outfits #1 & 2 and the one with the orange trousers is very bold and edgy.

The first outfit nearly sent me over the edge. That SCARF. How it matches the loafers. Oh my!! And then the outfit was completely equalled by every single one that came after it. I am really floored. I can hardly wait for your week of dresses and skirts.

MPJ, I ordered the 20 eyelet Docs in the Smooth Black. It's got a more uniform and darker finish than the regular ones (I think). I haven't ever seen the normal black ones in person. The black smooth even look a little dressy (well, for Docs). The leather is rather stiff, I need to break them in. And when I sit down, the top of the boot digs into the back of my knee, and they gap at the top, which is why they need to be shortened about an inch. I will let everyone know how the experiment goes.
