Hi Everyone!

I haven't posted an outfit photo in a while because I've been still been wearing my summer clothing, which isn't very interesting since it's autumn now. But since I got my new haircut, I thought I'd post some photos of outfits with that. Here's what I wore today:

I got rained on, so my hair sort of went wavy, but I like it. Close-up of my bangs (for Inge):

I slightly prefer it straight, so I think I might try to straight iron them on non-rainy days.

Do you all still think the red lipstick is working okay?

Wow, Just... WOW!

Ana, you've always been beautiful and stylish and I don't know quite how to word this right but this haircut is just so spectacular and takes your overall style up a great big notch!!

I don't know how to explain it any better. I guess I'm... speechless. (wow, to make me speechless - quite an accomplishment, eh?)

I love the new cut straight OR wavy. The wavy is very nice - I would just have fun and go either/or.

And yes, the red lipstick is working MORE than okay!

P.s. I was about to post a Jcrew thread, something I've been thinking about lately...

Ana, I second Shiny's opinions. You look so incredibly stylish in that cut that it elevates everything you wear to a completely new level! I wouldn't worry about flatironing too much - the wavy look is adorable on you.

That pixie haircut makes you look SO chic! Shiny is right; you already were stylish, but the haircut sends you to a whole new level.

Ana - I'm just going to have to be repetitive and say WOW! I think that the haircut not only shows off your face, but also the ruffled neckline of your top and makes it super stylish. And definitely keep wearing the red lipstick.

Thanks for posting pics so we can check back in and see how you're doing with your new haircut. Perfect. I love the bit of curl in your bangs from the rain. You should do some modeling for extra cash while you're in school. That's how good you look with your new hair style.
Great outfit as usual but now you could probably wear a potato sack and no one would notice with all the charisma going on with your face and hair.

Oh, Ana, your entire look has come together in a way that looks completely effortless and so right for you. Your gorgeous, face-framing cut is just lovely with the feminine details of your blouse, cardi, skirt and flats. It would be easy to get too cutesy or frou-frou, but your look is simple elegance (with a dash of sass) at its best. It's the Ana look, and no one can do it as well as you.

P.S. I love the red lipstick, still. But, those eyes! And those cheekbones! Have you ever tried a slightly heavier, semi-smoky eye with a nude lip? You have a lovely, natural beauty, but to emphasize your eyes that way could truly be just killer. (If you try it, as they convinced me to do at the Chanel counter, please share photos).

And I must say you look even better than before, and that was already pretty fantastic! You have really made this haircut your own, you look so amazingly elegant, I just can't get over it: WOW!!! (not to mention your eyes and cheekbones, WOW again!!!)

I like it both straight and wavy (my waves never behave like I want them to, yours frame your face perfectly, I'm jealous;-)

And oh yes, the lipstick is still beautiful. Aren't you glad you won't have to give it up? I was thinking that would have been a real shame, since you put so much effort into finding the exact right shade. It's a keeper Ana.

I think you mentioned this in another thread: you hit the nail right on the head when you said that sometimes a plain V-neck or crewneck seems to need something extra when you have short hair (an interesting neckline, jewelry, a scarf, or just a blouse underneath). I could never figure out why they looked boring on me at times, but I think you're right, it's the short hair...

Another thing I wanted to ask: are you liking your glasses with the new hairdo?
I know some people feel that their specs stand out more after they cut their hair (less hair to hide behind;-), so I was curious about that too.

Thank you all so much! Oh my goodness, I'm so flattered (and blushing). Thank you for the feedback on the lipstick, too. I'm so happy it still works because it's my favorite one.

Kyle, I haven't really ever tried a smoky eye because I don't go out at night that much, but I might try it tomorrow night because my friends are having a dinner party at their house. How fun! Thank you for the idea.

Inge, I do like my glasses still. You're right too, they are more noticeable now. I'll try to post some more outfit photos now that the weather has cooled off, and I'll include some with the glasses, too.

Thank you all again for making me feel really good about my hair, it has really given me a lot of confidence in the cut.
