Already Pretty book

I have a few style books that I have deliberately left around the house. As predicted, one or more of my DDs will pick them up and read them. That way, it's not me telling them how they should dress. So far, they've made good choices and I'm happy with the way they look.

Ruth - that's very clever! I know people who do that with regular books. Handing their kids a book is the kiss of death, but if theyleave it out, it's like contraband and the kids can't resist taking a peek.

Yep, it's the contraband factor, definitely. I've raised 4 daughters and have a few tricks up my sleeve. Same with my DH. My mom taught me to let him think everything's his idea. Ya know what? That tactic works!

I want to get it too! She's right in my area and has been featured in our local newspaper several times and I caught her once on the local news I SO wish I could afford her styling services....

I bought Sally's book for my nook...about half the price of buying hard copy. Something about the book doesn't work for me. Maybe it's the process of writing everything down and having an extensive journal. I don't really work that way, however, I can see how her process would be an effective tool for personal style exploration. I do love her blog though!
