AG Prima Jean in 360 Contour Denim

The last place I shop is in Beverly Hills but that's where the nearest AG store is. Plus my teen daughter is terribly impressed by the shopping and restaurant haunts of the Kardashians, so i grinned and bore it.

The new AG Prima is fabulous. It is a slim leg withoit being as tight or constricting as a legging. The Contour fabric is a multiway stretch. The SA told me that at a recent trade show ag had a model doing yoga in them for hours to prove that these wont bag out or lose their shape. I planned for a new pair of jeans, narrowed it down to one maker (wanted made in usa). This was the second pair i tried and voila! Not much effort at all for a great payoff. About 200 dollars.

I have also gone lighter with my shade of blonde am not sure if i can pull it off, , but it doesnt seem to wash me out when I look at it. What di you think? K

Ps i like the long length of these!! Not ankle pants-- miracle. My legs feel longer plus its a midrise.

Ummlila you might reallllly like the Primas. They hit in a nice spot if you need a mid rise, and they are so comfortable. This pair with the new fabric is not heavy at all and they feel so snug and secure without squeezing the slightest bit of life out of you. They sort of feel like a light compression garment. This purchase means I can throw out a less flattering skinny jean now and enjoy these for a few years. When you find your fit and brand, stick with them, I say! Let us know if you try them. K

Hey, if I get those I can throw away my TED hose! Sorry, you had me at 'compression garment'. Seriously those are gorgeous looking. I think it was money well spent to get the comfort, length and rise that you did. I love AG jeans; they fit me really well. I love your cool shades and bag too. Your hair looks great to me, though the photo might be a little overexposed?

I have some AGs, and I really like the look and feel of them. They aren't the best ever fit for me, though, I have to admit.

Gracie its funny you mention the vest. I have worn it only a handful of times in about four years? But I could never see to get rid of it. I like it with a tank underneath so maybe it will be my summer "jacket" here in LA

Oh, I can't let go of my beautiful vests either. I'm waiting for them to come back in full-force style and then I will deploy my collection! Meanwhile, I'll dabble, like you.

Also, your hair looks really pretty here. It's always really tough to tell about colours in photos, but if it feels good in person, too, I'd say it's a hit.

OMG, you look amazing! Head to toe, that is a great look! I am seriously thinking I need to look at those jeans. What is the inseam length? Despite being a shortie, I find a lot of petite pants give me that Steve Urkel look.

I'm not sure of the inseam! They are long but good with pumps it seems, or you can just scrunch at the ankle. I don't think they are high enough of a rise to make you look like Urkl. I am laughing because when my 12 year old son Erik gets naughty we call him" Erkl."

The jeans are a great fit and length, very flattering.
Next season I will be updating my mid-blue straight/skinny jeans as they tend to lose their shape very quickly requiring a belt.
The rise is so important, an inch either way can make them SO wrong both fit and comfort wise.

Thanks for the jeans review! I am always interested in the latest denim discoveries. I actually like all of the shorter inseams as I don't like much stacking. Your thread coordinates well with Angie's blog this a.m., about the continued relevance of skinny jeans. These jeans love you! I like the way you are wearing a vest as it makes a jeans and tee outfit special.

Your hair looks very pretty, and full too. I'm a bit envious of your hair as mine is flat and mousey blonde but I'm not willing to put the effort/time/money into it either - so I really can't complain. I'm reaping what I'm sowing.

Great jeans. I love that amount of scrunch and can almost never get that because most inseams are too short on me. I like AG jeans too. If I were in the market for new skinnies, I'd check them out. Your hair looks great too!

You also have me inspired to wear one of my vests. Yesterday during my big closet review/purge, I took note that my vests are languishing. I have an embellished grey vest by Sandro that I bought in Paris, and I think I need to try a very simple jeans and tee pairing with it!

You are a stunner and I'm keeping out an eye for those jeans if a version makes it to sale, I want at least one pair of dark skinnies that don't stretch out yet are comfortable.

Oh! TED hose are surgical hose, medical compression garments. I had my veins done and had to wear them for months. Ugh.

I eyed the Primas in white last winter but never tried them. I will have to keep my eye on these, like Rabbit, for possible sales.
