Advice needed: How to style white, fringed cowboy boots and (separately) a black velvet jacket with

I have these two items, both somewhat unique and both, for various reasons, very sentimental to me. I REALLY want to find ways to wear them!! I almost wore the boots with my Winter Whiteout yesterday, but backed out last minute because of my back pain - they are a little tight, I need to stretch them more - and additional discomfort was not what I needed yesterday. (Back is starting to feel much better finally.)

The other item is maybe a bit less odd, but still hard for me to style. I've worn it a few times, but I'm pretty sure I looked bit... Idk, pageant-show-mom ish. I need to find ways to make it more current.

Any and all suggestions are welcome!!

P.S. That is not the actual jacket, but very very close. Boots do look just like those, if not as bright white, I'll probably clean them up a bit before I wear them.
I'll try to post a pic of the jacket on me later if I have time at home.

I vote skinny jeans, a top in the same off-white colour, and blazer. Let your boots do all the talking.

I would use the jacket to add texture to an all black outfit. You could also try a caramel, nude or gold top underneath and black on the bottom. I'm thinking a fairly simple top (maybe even a fitted tee) and something long and sleek on the bottom, like skinnies, black pants or a long black skirt and boots. You could also try a black tissue turtleneck underneath the jacket, black bottoms and lighter boots to bookend your hair.

I agree with Angie. Since your boots are the focal point, the outfits should be tame, like all black or all white.

For the boots think white-out with skinny jeans. All white will not look too western or too much like the 80s version of white fringe. I would try the jacket over a black sheath dress or maybe a black pencil skirt and turtle neck.
