Ok, so I've not been able to get this idea out of my head (must be the result of turning 50 this year, midlife and all that :P) and in all seriousness I've actually registered for e-mail alerts to see if any good flight prices come up. I'm not overly confident as the prices are now higher than two days ago! I've no experience in this matter at all and no idea how long to play the waiting game. All I know is I would be interested in a direct flight only and there aren't many of them. One can but dream eh?

Wow, this is really shaping up to be epic. I'm considering my calendar for the week after the big gathering to see if I might be able to swing a little trip out for a smaller meetup with Angie and Inge and anyone else who might be interested. It's been way too long since I visited Seattle, and that visit was way too brief.

I got my bib for the big bike ride that day, so it's official -- I will be pedaling my way around the eastern shore of Maryland while all of you lovelies are having fun! I will just have to check in on you all after the ride is done!
