I'm rather burnt out on planning outfits, after the April 30x30, but trying hard not to throw out my entire wardrobe in a fit of ennui. One of the things I did learn from the 30x30 is that if I make a point to wear an item often, I'll come up with more combinations for it. So I'm going to choose 5 items for May and try to wear each 5 times during the month. Hopefully I can get creative without driving myself nuts with repetition.

Summer seems to be approaching quickly here and it's shaping up to be a long, hot, dry, drought-y one. Summer is probably my least favorite season, dressing-wise, because it's so hard to be interesting. Budget-wise I'm OK, done shopping for spring and taking a pause before summer.

I always end up wearing more black and brights in summer, but this year I've been much more interested in mid-tones and stuff that goes with navy/denim. Also embracing the looser silhouettes, if not baggy, and am interested in slouchy, somewhat androgynous looks - paradoxically, with nicer, more tailored shoes. I'm not sure what that's going to end up looking like, but if I come up with anything interesting I will keep you all posted.
