A New Formula for Me - YouLookFab Forum

I've tried cropped tops with my cropped pants and it didn't work for me so I'm excited that this formula will be popular this spring. I have some dresses and crops that should work well together. I'm going to have to shop for new shoes with heels because I'm on the short side but that will be fun. This is an outfit I wore last fall when it was warm. The shoes I'm wearing have a low heel and I'm wondering what kind of shoe would look best with this formula. I have crop pants in white, denim, and black and like to match the shoe and pants. Shoe suggestion would be great.

Agreeing wholeheartedly with Ginger -- this formula IS made for you, Bonnie. I think the shoes you are wearing here work just fine with these outfits as they have ankle straps and a bit of lift from the wedges. When I wear this particular type of ensemble, I usually choose either ankle-strap or high vamp shoes (mules, heeled "shooties", loafers).

You look great in this combo, Bonnie! I like the shoes you are wearing. Lots of different types to choose from but an ankle strap of some kind is great. A cage sandal could also work, or gladiator style.

Ledonna N: Thank you. Our weather has been cool and rainy but as soon as it warms up and I get some cool black and/or white sandals, I'll take some photos to share.
All: I've added a pair of sandals that I think might work with my black crop flares. I wear the chelsea boots with them now but something like these sandals may work for hot weather.

I think gladiator sandals would look great with the cropped pants and plaid shirt.

Yup the ones you posted would work. There is also the type with a little piece of leather going straight up the middle, which gives it an even more gladiator look.

I like both these outfits and think the shoes go well. I have no problems with cropped pants in the summer but can't get the formula right for winter. I don't think I have quite the right pieces.
