Izzy and I thank you all!
Unfrumped, I agree that at least a hint of waist definition is a must for me, especially since I seem to be losing my waist these days;-)
Simple, modern classic, with a touch of femininity. I like that, Lyn. Shevia and Kiwigal used "soft", and I think that plays into the femininity as well. Interesting. I'll have to give that one some thought.
Thanks, Diane. I love that #7 was one of your favorites. You know the saying, "comfortable in your own skin"? Well, this outfit is that skin for me.
DEB, I agree that tucking/semi-tucking does wonders for proportion, especially now that I can't wear heels. Discovering the semi-tuck was life-changing for me!
Beth Ann, what an interesting idea. I've been sort of challenging myself lately to finish accessorizing. This is going fairly well. I'm also trying to wear things that haven't been in rotation recently to see if they should still be in my wardrobe. This has been helpful too. Never thought about working with a particular piece or style element though. I will give this some thought. Thanks!
Thank you, Angie! I totally agree about the structure around the hip/waist area. Finally getting my crop length right has made such a difference in "put-togetherness" of my outfits. Thanks for all your assistance there!
Carole...the d'Orsay flats too? We just need to share a shoe closet!
