Q&A about individual items, ensembles, and wardrobe

A little bit of Paris- Je'taime (sp?)

Dear Angie, Thanks so much for letting us share your trip-I want to go so much!
I have been thinking so much about Anne Fontaine- ever since you and Ana tipped me off about her store. There is no store here and it is way out of my price range, but I do think they are signature investment pieces well worth the $ if you can afford them. I saw some things on Ebay, but thanks to this site, I have sworn off Ebay- too much money wasted on junk. Anyway, does anyone know of any more affordable suggestions for classsy white blouses that are a little edgy?
I was really impressed with Sarah's white blouse/red shoe combo.

Hmm.....let me think about it a little. Are you opposed to shopping online from well known retailers, or would you rather go in person? If so, what types of shops do you have around your city?

Ana - I am so excited I couldn't wait to get home to tell you guys- today is my 48th birthday( so san I'm pretty sure I'm the oldest or close) and the hubby gave me $200 gift card to.... J CREW!!!!!
I love to shop online- its Ebay I had gotten hooked on- I would get something and put right in the Kidney Services give-away box.
Help ladies- what should I get? Need a white blouse and a belt-
Thanks

Happy Birthday Lisa! What an AWESOME present! :D

What sort of white blouse are you looking for? Classic, ruffly, etc? There are several at J. Crew I could recommend, hee hee.

Also, what type of belt are you looking for?

Thanks to all- I'll write more tomorrow- it is funny that the first thing I said was - I got to ask the girls what I should get! Tommy knew who I meant- but his Mom and Dad were surprised because they know I'm kind of a recluse- or at least I was till I met you kindred spirits- you all are fun

Yeah! A member of my generation! One thing about us - we had the good fortune to grow up with great music!

Oh my dear Lisa, there is nothing better than British '80's music. Music from other eras can’t compare! I’m stuck in that decade as far as music goes!
