A few of this weeks outfits - YouLookFab Forum

Pretty boring but thought I would share and assess how bad these day to day outfits actually are.

First one is the tunic that I posted last week, I tried it again with skinnies and different belt, not sure about it though.

Second up, Gap jeans with Green jersey top which has to be layered due to the see through neck line, the vest underneath is too big so it made me look a but bulky, but I intend to get a few tight fitting cami's to do this job in the future. The tops was bought to wear with trousers for work but thought I could wear it more casual too.

Last one is a cotton print skirt that I have had for ages, paired with plain T and heels, its an easy outfit to throw on but does it look a bit bland?! I have a couple of skirts like this I find for where I live it is easy to alter from very hot summer to slightly cooler winter by changing from vests to T's or lightweight knits.

Hopefully when I start earning again I can begin to add new things to my wardrobe, I still have a heart attack at the thought of an unexpected night out etc because I have such a small amount of things that I like I can never find anything to wear.
We have been invited to a leaving party at someone's house on Saturday night and have no idea what to wear. Any suggestions?

I also need to get round to posting some pics of the other things I bought to start work, to get some view on them too.

Love your outfits, my favorite is the second one! It makes you so thin! You have a lovely figure! The skirt is gorgeous!
I'm not sure of the first one either, maybe it has to do with the colour of the belt, let's see what the others have to say..

I love your simple but sylish style Love all the outfits. I agree with Rute- the second one is my favorite too! I don't see a problem with the tunic and belt-- I think it looks really nice. Did you try wearing the belt a bit lower?

The belt won't sit any lower it keeps sliding up, believe it or not thats my waist up there! totally weird short body thing going on! lol! I think I go for simple thinking its easier not to make mistakes!

I think I've said this before, but I don't think anything could look bad on you! Everything I've ever seen you wear has been great! You have an awesome figure for clothes!

Thanks Marianna, my problem is confidence, or lack of it more like. I say its since I Had the baby but acutally I think it began way before that. I want to look good but I don't like to stand out from the crowd.

oh... you have so much potential!!! don't be afraid to stand out! Wear clothes with confidence, you have a lovely face, lovely figure, don't be afraid to get posite attention!

Thanks girls, I am using going back to work as a target of when I am going to really get back into buying clothes and sorting out my wardrobe. Firstly as someone mentioned I will have all those baby free lunch hours to have a browse round the shops and secondly more money to buy what I want!
Boof I am not sure how smart the party will be, its at someones house, probably in the garden, some people might be more casual but I know there are a few that will be very smart as they usually are. Some where in between is where I'd like to be! I will have a play with the dress today and see what to shoes etc to wear with it.
