Here are a few MOTG's I put together this week. I guess I need to try to go scarfless next week

Tuesday

I did tie the scarf better than the picture shows

I tried it with the necklace instead of the scarf, but in the mirror thought I needed the color- but looking at the pics, I think this might be okay-- what do you think?

(also, is it hokey to have the necklace under the collar of the jacket?)

so today I decided to give a golden oldie a chance. I've had this sweater for 3 years... is it time to retire it?

Queenie - these look great to me. I love the sweater and how it looks on you - I would vote to keep it. The necklace looks a bit unusual under the collar of the jacket. Makes me wonder what it will do when you move around. It might become too distracting?

What a fantastic week Queenie, I'm also addicted to scarfs so I would not worry about wearing them too often. I actually like the layered necklace over the denim jacket!

Look at you! Perfectly put together. I like the sweater you asked about keeping. It's really sweet. As for the necklace question, I think it'd be better under the jacket than over it and under the collar but is definitely doable the way you've styled it.

Thanks ladies for such positive feedback (living with all boys, I sure don't get alot of that around here- LOL)
I'm glad I tried out that sweater again. I think often it's just a matter of remixing with more updated trends. I'm gonna keep it
I agree about the necklace- it just needs to be layered between the dress and the jacket. I think it seemed a bit "sloppy" when I first tried it that way. I just need to fiddle with it to get it in just the right place.
