There was a thread around about MOTG outfits, but I can't find it now. Here are a few recent outfits, all MOTG

It was a cool day, so I got to wear my purple moto! Gladiator wedges and some hand me down black jeans from my SIL - not sure if I should keep. Opinions? I'll definitely need to get the waist taken in if I do.

This was a playground day. Pieces like this tunic make me feel fabulous even when I am cleaning up play dough and rescuing a toddler from the monkey bars. I think the key to looking/feeling good as a MOTG is detail. The tunic has a great print, cowl neck, a slight puff sleeve - the leggings a stitch detail - the flats cutout detail - the cardi a color I love. Yet it is all as comfy as pajamas.

Another play day. Belts can get annoying when you are on the go with toddlers, but I adore this fabric obi belt. It is a heavy jersey, so it is not flimsy but it is super soft and comfy and not restrictive at all, and I love how it takes a basic knit tee and clams to another level. I have a black one as well, and I find them so useful and comfy I want to make a similar belt in another color.

Feedback and comments from you fabulous ladies welcome! I don't always have as much time as I'd like to visit the forum, but I learn so much each time I do.

Asha, I love the layering in #2 - it doesn't *look* like you have a lot on because they layers and proportions work so well together. I really love the cowl neck tunic. What a stunning mom you are!

I loved all your looks! I really love the pop of purple with outfit #1, the black and white with yellow and the grey flats, and the obi belt is fabulous! The belt really does adds pizzazz to that tee! Great style!

*blush* you ladies are so kind! What a nice thing to read first thing in the morning! (And motivating too - that temptation to stay in my pajamas this morning is gone now).
Brianna, the obi is from a store in the Philippines, but it is a really simple shape. It is just a very long piece of heavy jersey, 2 layers, thickest in the middle and slowly tapering to the ends. It would be really easy to make. I've never seen one here, but I also haven't shopped much since I've been back.
Angie, thank you for asking. We're finally back in our own home so we are getting settled in. Everything is going well, I just can't get used to the dry air here! My skin is just not the same. I looked up your dry skin posts and I'm trying a few of those remedies. I can't imagine how bad my skin will be in the winter if I don't find a cure!
Debora, I have a few pairs of clams but I've never been able to find a pair off the rack that fits perfectly. I have just been purchasing skinnies and having them hemmed. Finding a perfect pair of clams was so elusive for me - this method works great! I know it's an extra cost to have them hemmed, but I find I spend much less time searching this way, and time is money!

Asha, I am in the middle of creating a "playground wardrobe", and you are such a great inspiration! Although the general level of your cuteness and stylishness is just too high for me even to try to emulate The obi belt! I am amazed at how beautiful it is and also at the level of the motivation you have to come up with such a great outfit for a day spent with the kids on the playground (or somewhere similar). The other outfits are amazing as well, but I just had to comment on the obi belt.

Thanks for the tip, Asha! I'm not having much luck finding clams that fit so I may have to do just that. I 'm not a big on-line shopper. I like to try things on in the stores. I think buying the skinnies and getting them hemmed may be the way to go for me.
