Thank you to everyone who posts WIWs as I am constantly getting inspired by all of you! Thought I'd contribute a little bit as well.

These outfits have all been worn to teach my college classes.

Just a couple of notes:

-I have had the sailor pants in #4 for at least 5 years and have never worn them, until now.

-#6 I wore my two Catherine Malandrino sweaters the Monday and Tuesday after the Paris attacks. I found them fitting to discuss what happened with my French students.

-#9 First snow of the season a couple of days ago: 10.5 inches!

WOW at the snow! I hope I get to see snow one day. It looks cold but somehow enticing!

Terrific to see you post, and what a fantastic set of outfits. It's fun to see the seasonal progression, too. (And wow -- that's a lot of snow for the first fall of the season! Our ground is still green here although it did snow some this morning.)

Really love the layering in #2 and the blue with white palette. Also love your fun black and white shoes and the Paris tee ad Eiffel Tower sweater later on! I detect a little more graphic crispness in these looks compared to previous series from you. I'm also in awe of how well you handle various silhouettes, getting the proportions "just so" each time.

Well I love that Brooklyn Bridge top. At least I think it is a BB top - sometimes hard to tell on tiny phone photos. Anyway, it should be mine, mine, mine! You look fab! What a great set of outfits. Aside from coveting your BB top, I really like your layering. My fave is no 2.

Fantastic! This is such a great mix of varied silhouettes, colors and textures. Your style is very cohesive, polished and sharp, Chouette.

The first outfit in #7 with the long cardi + dress + tall boots and the second one in #8 with the blazer & trousers are my favourites. I particularly love #6 too.

Wow! You have quite the range of sihouettes and eclectic taste, yet all the outfits seem so uniquely 'you'. I love how you layer and you have some fab shoes! For my favourites I'm going with 2, the first one in 3, the bridge in 4, 5, the second in 7 and the very last outfit. But really all are winners. You have great style.

Thank you so much for posting WIWs. They are all perfect to my eyes, and always very inspiring and instructional to see a bunch of them together. Love your black'n color outfits, especially cool are the graphic tops and your hi-low hem to layerings. Beside the beautiful clothes, the shoes are all amazing, too:-). YLF in all of these! Brava!

Thank you for the nice comments! What a nice beginning to my day of running errands for Thanksgiving. I need to brave Costco when it opens - wish me luck!

Yes, it is the Brooklyn bridge. It's from a Elie Tahari for Kohl's collaboration from last year. It's a really lovely silky top.

I like #2 as well. I got that white top from Loft in Spring and like its mixed materials (it has faux-leather sleeves), but it was too long and didn't really go well with anything. I knew that I had to shorten it, but of course it was waiting in a pile for the entire summer (we moved, thus time was scarce). Then in September I finally got to it. I took a few inches off and decided to give it a high-low hem; now it fits great and goes with lots of silhouettes. Then I realized that I could also use it for layering in colder months. Love it!

I really admire your great eye for layering...and what really speaks to me is the simplicity of a two piece outfit elevated by awesome shoes! The bridge outfit with those shoes is my favorite.

Wow - I love all our outfits. You have a Euro chic flare which I love! The black and white Paris outfits are great.

We probably live in the same part of the country as my yard looked exactly like that a few days ago. It's all slowly melting now.

Love seeing your WIWs - beautifully put together! I'm going with your Paris ensembles as my favourite!
Too funny about those sailor pants - I took a close look to see if they were the ones Angie and a few others have been sporting from Express...and then I read your post!. If you've got the cupboard space, always a good idea to hang on to these purchases.

I like all of your outfits. I think I have the same Brooklyn Bridge top. I like it with the two tone shoes - very fun! I also like the one with the white top over the chambray top.

Wow! What a lot of snow! We had snow on the 10th, but barely 6 inches.

So fun to see you post again, Chouette! Like Suz I was amused to see the season change clicking through your lovely outfits ^^ #2, #3 (left), and #7 (all) particularly make me happy; that high-low hemline layered over a round-hem shirt is really fab (clever alteration on the LOFT top), the funky reds with the rolled denim is fun, and I always love seeing a dress paired with tall boots. Nice also to see some wider pant hems too. The poncho in #8 (right) looks fun, is that lower "layer" part of the top or an actual other layer? The layering in that outfit is super and the shiny shoes are a perfect pairing. And the two Paris outfits in #6 are simple and elegant in the best way.

These outfits are a visual feast! I would like to copy all of them. The way you layer shorter over just slightly longer pieces is so appealing and flattering, and I love how you wear your graphic tops--the Brooklyn Bridge and the Paris ones.
