I’m glad you’re warm, Anne. Am I right to assume that you’re not wearing this look with this particular scarf out? I think that a scarf wrapped like an obi can be a great look and Bella sports the vibe from time to time. But a dressier scarf lends itself better to this trend imo. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks Joy and Shana. This was just an "at home" look, but I think maybe it could indeed point in the direction of an obi belt.

I agree with Joy - it works with your body type and figure. It would be horrific on me (I still laugh thinking that I used to wear bandanas as belts - I really don't remember being that thin!). Maybe you can try more of an Obi style wrap to give it a little modern edge?? Also, layering a synthetic cami under my winter clothes helped me keep surprisingly warm last winter.

You are slim enough to pull it off, I think. A finer woven wool scarf rather than the chunky knit might be just as warm and have a better drape. I hope the look of using a scarf as a belt comes back soon. Seeing you, I think it's been gone long enough to look fresh again. Maybe the long neck scarf of this past year will migrate to the waist?

I sometimes get really cold in the back, and wrap a scarf around my midsection to keep me warm. Last time I did this I glanced in the mirror and thought it didn't look too bad, and took this pic. What do you think?
