Yes, I read somewhere something about it: you can wear white denin with a denin jeans but never a denin jacket with a denin jeans (and I agree ..it's too 80's).

Shiny, I agree - the length and fit is wonderful for petites. I actually tried on every white jean jacket known to man (J crew, Gap, M&O, ON etc) before buying this one. It's funny because I wanted one so badly but now that I have it, I can't think of a single outfit to wear it with - I'm going to have to do some more experimenting. I am terrible about buying stuff, having it hang in my closet untouched until just before the return deadline and then taking it back. I need to get my camera and spend some time in my closet!

Shana, I think you should keep! What I really like about this jacket is the white buttons. Also it is perfect length too.

I wore the jacket out today over a gray scoop-neck graphic tee with denim clams. I think it worked just fine, so that solves that! I am thinking whatever I would wear the cream pleather jacket with would probably work. (That jacket is a bit too clammy for the humid weather we've been having - the denim breathes better).

For some reason I can picture it better with light-wash jeans than dark denim. Maybe dressed up a bit with a fun button-down shirt?

Have you tried it with walk shorts or clam diggers yet Shiny. That could look great too. Or over a tunic/dress + leggings. And I always like seeing a denim jacket (blue or white wash) paired with dressy trousers (grey, black, pinstripes...). Add Converse or a fun pair of sandals and you're in business.

I have a white denim jacket that I had not really used. I saw a picture of Michelle Pfeiffer in the latest InStyle magazine. She had on a white denim jacket, white cami and light wash jeans with a fabulous green necklace. I know not everyone likes the light wash but I am sure dark works as well. I just wore this to many a compliment with light wash jeans and a chunky long purple necklace.

My DH made a special trip to a Levis store when he hit goal just to buy himself a white jean jacket. He's been wearing it with dark denim which I didn't think would work but it does.

Shiny, I bought this same jean jacket about a month ago and have yet to wear it so I'll be watching this thread. I've tried it on with jeans and didn't really like the look so I was going to save it for dresses or skirts. However, I haven't grabbed it at all so I might just end up returning it. I have a white eyelet cotton blazer from BR (from last summer) which I am wearing alot (with a white tank and jeans & gold jewelry) and I thought I would wear the jean jacket the same way but it's not really working out. Can't wait to get some more ideas!

I don't have a white denim jacket, but I do wear my blue denim jacket with my white jeans, so I imagine doing the opposite would look great too!

I am anxious to see all these new goodies you've picked up recently in future outfits! :)

Okay ladies, I just bought a white jean jacket at ATL. I couldn't resist, because it fit perfectly. But, I am not quite sure how to wear it!

... over a dress or skirt is a given. But can it be worn with blue denim jeans?
