It was a really fun day, made more so by not worrying about what I was wearing. Based on today's blog post, I think I may have achieved effortless yesterday. </p> <p>Nicole, my life is only occasionally exciting. Yesterday was one of the occasions for sure but only part of it was meeting the famous governor. Yesterday was the big cherry on top of a project I'd been working on for two years and that would have been big regardless. But the Gov... He looks a lot like he does on TV and in print. He has very smooth skin. Not sure why that stood out to me. He's not as big (broad) as I think I assumed he'd be. I didn't really get to chat much with him so I couldn't say what he's like personally. We were at a press event so he had lots of handlers and was kind of in and out quickly. I was a total dork and mentioned that I lift weights.
