It's a bold print, yes, but I don't think it's too loud for a wedding. You can always wrap a solid colored shawl around your upper body if it makes you feel more comfortable and/or less like a shining beacon of awesome pattern. I agree with San--gladiator (or gladiator-inspired) sandals would work well. I actually like that it's a little less poufy than the print dress too. I agree with Anne that making it less bridesmaid-like is all in the accessories.
