Lovely color, drape, detail. I like it with the chestnut boots as well. I think yublocka is right that the black is too tight.... do the boots have any scrunch? Think they will loosen up? I don't think the problem is the color, as your hair is dark, so black "bookends" your look, and you could wear with black tights.
