You have such a beautiful smile! I love sheath dresses, but like you, I have a larger chest and can find them difficult to wear. This particular one does look a bit tight.

I like the jacket a lot though and don't think that it looks too long. I hardly ever button jackets, so I wouldn't worry about it not closing. If you are planning to button it, though, it does look like the button needs to be moved.

Yes, it makes sense!! Round high necks call even more attention to an area we don't want to enphasise. I'll keep searching!

Rute, I agree with everyone else about the dress. Also, as someone who is large-chested, I will say that I sometimes find that neckline difficult to wear. I think that because the neckline is so high, it sometimes has the effect of making the chest look never-ending. Does that make sense? I do own items with high necklines, so I don't think it's always the case, but I do think it is something to look out for.

As for the blazer, I personally don't think that it's too long. My only critique is that when it is buttoned, the button seems to be pulling. It is difficult to tell if it's just a little tight, and maybe moving the button over slightly would solve the problem, or if it is being pulled by your chest from above. I think it looks great when it is worn unbuttoned.

Rute, I LOVE the dress, but agree it's a bit small. The jacket also looks great.

Your judgement is totally right.. the round color is difficult for me to wear, but all sheath dresses have very high round color.. well I guess i'll have to continue looking...
Here there are no petite stores... so I have to alter a lot: cut the sleeves, hem the skirts.. usually I don't buy when there is much alteration to be done because I'm afraid I won't like the final result (dresses are complicated because I have a short torso and the waist don't sit at my natural waist), so I go for the two pieces.

You have both great taste and a fantastic figure but I feel the dress squashes your chest a little and the jacket would be fabulous if four inches shorter.

I'm not sure if it is the neckline on the dress that is maybe a little high, a long necklace may alter the proportions. I'm new to the site and don't trust my judgement yet so It is a good job Angie's back to put us straight.

I do love the chocolate/ lime colour combination it reminds me of the retro sweets.

Do you often have to alter your clothes given you're petite?

I have to agree with Chewy - it looks too small, but I love the style! Can you size up?

I think the dress is too small- it pulls a bit near your hips and you have a visible panty line. I really like the jacket, though.

I'm still fitting to build my fall wardrobe.. so at lunch hour I went to a store I know it has good quality clothes (the price is not so good) and excellent fit: Its a french brand called caroll: http://www.caroll.com/

I just had time to experiment two items:
I was looking for a sheath dress and this has an impecable fit, but I'm not sure if it is the best option for my type of body.
As to the jacket, I think it's too long and the one button jacket is not flattering for my "big chest".
What do you think?
