I love it! I have a hat like that they I don't wear much. I often feel like it looks to sweet. The addition of the leggings take the sweetness down a notch. It feels so fresh. I just think it's wonderful.

Marianne, you look fantastic! I have sensitive skin that flares up with sun exposure so I often wear a big ole hat but worry that I look silly. I think you have made it work in a way that is functional, elegant & trendy! If only I could find a dress/tunic to wear with my leggings!!!!

Thank you ladies! I needed some validation today. :) Glad you think it works - the dress is a bit too revealing without a cami and it was on the way to orphanage.

In light of today's post I am trying another old dress with leggings. It's a bit big in the chest, so does layering it over cami look OK? What do you think about the hat? (it's somewhat inspired by Jean) I am spending a lot of time outside lately, and I like the coverage. I felt a tad self-conscious but no one said anything so far :)
