This is not something I have resolved yet and mostly resort to wearing my oh so comfortable orthotic fitting Kumfs shoes which do not meet with YLF style approval. I love the idea of wearing what we in Aus call brogues and sounds like what people here are calling oxfords. I don't wear heels over 1.5" except for special occasions and I've found it impossible to find non-chunky, feminine low-heeled boots. My solution has been to stick to low-heeled pumps and hose. I'll admit - I'm one of those who'd wear loafers or even ballet flats *with* socks. A faux pas to be sure. Last year, I wore my favourite black patent Mary Jane ballet flats with socks from Wal-Mart. (eek). </p> <p>I'm going to keep an eye out for some flat/very low-heeled boots and things like oxfords and such.
