Thank you so much for your honest opinions! I've had them... for 7 years? I think that's right. It's definitely time for an update!

Thank you for your compliments too! I'll be on the lookout for specs that follow all the guidelines... and once I hear back about a few jobs this week I might have a vision plan to use!

Agreed too. You have such gorgeous skin also, maybe some specs with a touch of color might be fun to try. Your face shape will work with tons of frames.Have fun!

I echo Maya and Sandy. These specs actually take away from your very pretty face. Utter sacrilege! Your hunt for killer specs has begun. Can't wait!

I agree with everything that Maya has said. I was going to say that you are so pretty and these glasses are not doing you justice. They do not give the lift that Angie talks about and the nose pads look very dark and heavy. With your pretty face you will be able to wear a spectacular pair of spectacles! Just like Maya said!

You are so very pretty LE. I think you can do MUCH better and find something that really complements your lovely features. These do not have the "lift" that Angie was talking about in her post, and they do nothing to flatter your features and your coloring. Lift is a bit hard to wrap your head around, I know, but it becomes clearer once you start trying on a whole bunch of specs (and if it doesn't, do what many of us have done: take boatloads of pics). The nose pads on these are also very prominent. If you're going to be switching to specs full time, I would definitely make this a priority. Everyone here was so helpful during my glasses journey so if you get stuck or need help, I'm sure we can sort you out.

It's time to see what you all think! I think they look fine, but there is definitely potential to get something a little more flattering. I'm lounging around today, so no make-up! :)

http://www.flickr.com/photos/t.....778072981/
http://www.flickr.com/photos/t.....778072983/

I wear contacts daily and normally wear my specs at home at the end of the day or in the morning. However, I'm going to be without a vision plan for a while, and I might have to start wearing these daily to stretch out my contact use.

My birthday is next month so I am thinking about investing in new specs if these don't fit the bill. What is your opinion?
