I have to admit, it wasn't until I started wearing the dresses later in the week that I really felt I was hitting my stride, I think because the dresses are the right size now and my few pants are all too big. </p> <p>Angie, I am SO THRILLED to get the killer award. Wow, that is the highest praise there is! For me, this wardrobe rehaul has been an unexpected journey; for so long, I selected my clothes based on what I could hide or deflect attention *from*, and I got to be very good at finding pieces that flattered because the fabric draped in the right ways and worked as camouflage. Now I am looking for clothes that FIT correctly, that emphasize my body parts (without tipping over into sexy/inappropriate), that show off instead of hide. It's a total turnaround that I'm not quite used to yet, so I am delighted to know you think I'm doing it right.</p> <p>Kari, not to worry, I've already picked up two new dresses this weekend! One is a gorgeous dressy sheath in a bold purple, black and white pattern, and the other is a cute spaghetti-strap cotton sundress in bright fuschia/magenta.
