I posted this in the wrong topic, I'm having that sort of day.

I think the fit of the jeans is lovely, I also like the colour but believe black to look smarter and be more versatile. Grey jeans, which I have previously owned always look like over laundered black jeans to my eye, probably because my grey jeans where actually faded black jeans!

If you are looking for an alternative, straight legs do seem like the obvious choice.

Kari - it is from Forever 21. Yes, looking at those pics it does not work with those skinny jeans. I'm thinking a nice straight leg jean in super dark denim.

Agrace, this is off topic, but where is that jacket from? It is adorable! (I wonder if the jacket might work better with a sleeker/more streamlined pair of pants, but I love it!)

They look light blue to me. I like the fit when you just wear a tank but I don't really like them with the jacket (which is great). I think it may be where the jacket hits or maybe that the jacket flairs a little. Something just looks a little off to me.

I know Angie mentioned in her blog she is not wild about grey jeans and I'm on the fence myself. I bought these for $19 from Old Navy and was picturing them with black and even my tall brown boots, tucked in. I've put them on here with my Sgt.Pepper' jacket (as my DH refers to it :) and also shown what the jeans are like with just a tank just so you can clearly see them....the question is: keep or return? With my body type I'm thinking I would look better in black skinny jeans as opposed to this grey?
