I turned around and realized it was one of the store employees. He didn't make an annoying cat call, and his tone of voice did not indicate any malintent, so I answered, "That's awfully sweet of you to say. Thanks."</p> <p>So what am I wearing today? A rather floaty (but not oversized) silky peplum top that has a surplice neckline and cumberbund waistband. The pattern is difficult to describe; I guess you could say it's a subtle floral print (one where the colors run together) in black, light grey, dark grey and white. It's not completely sheer, but it is sheer enough to have to wear something under it. Since I'm at the office, I opted to wear a light grey scoopneck tank top underneath rather than one of my lace-trimmed camis. I thought the tank would give it a more daytime vibe, whereas the lace-trimmed cami would have been better for evening.</p> <p>I also chose a very simple sterling silver snake chain and small hoop earrings, my wristwatch and wedding ring set. I also have on a pair of wide-legged black pants that are not jeans but are made to resemble jeans (just that the fabric is not as stiff as denim) and a pair of black Dansko "Rowena" heeled sandals.</p> <p>Wish I had a camera so I could show you the outfit. I didn't think it was anything special or out of the ordinary, but apparently someone thinks otherwise, lol! At any rate, it was nice to receive a compliment. </p>
