I have the same puff-sleeve blouse. It is difficult to wear under cardis because of the puff. Here's a tip: try wearing it with a vest over it. The vest won't interfere with the puff sleeve, and it can effectively disguise any fit issues in the torso (but personally I think it fits you just fine). Also try a jacket - the structure of the jacket should work okay over the puff.

The cream blouse - can you try it with a cardi over it? I am thinking of a blouse I have that is enormously too big on me ... it's a tunic... I got it for a song at H&M ... I can't wear it without layering a cardi over it. But with cardi, it magically works. You can't tell it's way too big.

I really like the last blouse, the pattern has potential. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

The jacket - I actually like the color on you a lot, though agree with everyone else that it's too big and best to let go.

Alright:

I've decided to sell the jacket - indeed, I'm not used to having something "too long" and I'm not in love with it, so trying to make it work doesn't excite me. It was an impulse buy a few years ago. Off it goes!

I'm keeping the blue blouse, and will wear it later this week with a cardi or something to show you all - I put it on this morning put took it off, mostly because puff sleeves are a little new to me. :) I'll play around with it to find a fun look.

I've asked how much it would cost to alter the size of the cream blouse, and the seamstress thought it would be at least $50... I'll hold onto it so I can get a second opinion (I will NEVER return to the place I asked because of the terrible hemming that was done) and alter it later in life.

I'll get my skirt altered and wear the last blouse with it.

Huzzah! Thanks for all your help!

Great pics. You are a statuesque little sausage. Love your jeans!

o	The jacket looks too long. I know you’re probably not use to hearing that! I like Antje’s idea of trying to belt it
o	The blue blouse is really pretty. KEEP. Go down a size on the white blouse. It looks lovely too.
o	The last blouse is super but too short for pants.
o	Gorgeous skirt!

Red corduroy jacket: The jacket is nice, but if you don't love it then I would get rid of it.

Blue silk neck-tie blouse: Gorgeous blouse. Definitely keep. I think it is very flattering on you. I also like the skirt.

Cream silk top: I think this top is a bit big.

Other silk top: I love this blouse and I think it would look great with 3/4 length sleeves.

One idea for the jacket: could you try and belt it?
I love the tie neck blouse, it's very pretty and very flattering on you. Try it also with a cardi or a short jacket over it.
I'm not loving the cream top; it looks a bit big.
And I think the last top looks short for the cut, I think the style should fall a little longer.

Laura - I like the corduroy jacket but if you don't love it, toss. I really like the blue silk tie-neck blouse. That's a great skirt so if the fabric is good quality, go ahead and have it altered so it fits. I've done that with a couple of skirts recently and it was cheaper than buying a new skirt of the same quality. The cream silk blouse doesn't look to big to me and I really like it also. I'm neutral about the last silk top. It's a nice top but I don't think that it really does much for you. You have other tops that are much more flattering.

Hmm I think the cord jacket and the cream top are too big.

I love the blue silk tie neck blouse and really love the last silk blouse.

So, toss, keep, toss, keep :)

I love all the three silk blouses, they are pretty and seem to fit you well, so i would definitely keep them. I especially like the blue one.

I am not so sure about the corduroy jacket - the color in particular, but also I'd prefer it in a shorter version.

Laura: I love them all! But specifically:

1. I like the corduroy jacket, but I am not sure of the color on you, and I prefer a 2 or 1 button jacke, but thats pure personal preference.

2. I agree, the color is beautiful, especially on you! I like the outfits you created with it. If the size bothers you too much see about having it taken in. The shoulder width seems to fit, so you could have the waist and even the sleeve circumference adjusted.

3 and 4: I love them both on you! I think you should keep them if you are comfortable enough to wear them!

I've been developing my wardrobe over the last few months, but I have a few items I'm not sure about keeping. I usually have a policy of "if in doubt, throw it out" but I feel like there might be some potential with tailoring or wearing these items with other pieces. Please let me know what you think!

Red corduroy jacket: Honestly, I feel like the fabric is holding me back with this. If this jacket were in another fabric I'd wear it more.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/t.....188898526/

Blue silk neck-tie blouse: I love this color, but I wonder if the fit and neckline are ideal for me. I've work it with a skirt (which I'm also not sure of, it is two sizes bigger than I need and I pinned it how it used to fit for the picture) and jeans.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/t.....188897982/
http://www.flickr.com/photos/t.....188897800/

Cream silk top: also a size too big, but I feel like I might be over analyzing.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/t.....188898684/

Another silk top: It is a regular size instead of my usual tall size, so I was thinking of having the sleeves shortened to 3/4 length.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/t.....188055521/
