The ballet flats aren't ideal when walking around with a new dog whose motions are unfamiliar, so it looks like I'll be stuck with long pants most of the time. It is a teenage look. Somehow they stand out too much as a statement. I wear cons only with bootcuts for this reason. (But I am also older than you).They also make my feet look big, bootcuts take care of that issue. Others may have different opinions. Do you have a walking shoe like a maryjane or ballet flat? It is probably too hot for jeans if you are opting for clams.
