I really like this top and the way you described you would wear it sounds great Ana. I also think of it as knitted top, not tee shirt.

I have the long sleeve version of this in black and I really like it. I wash it on the gentle cycle and hang dry and it's has kept it's shape. I do think it's more of a knit than a tee and i only wear it with dark jeans and jackets.

Ana I have several tops made out of tshirt fabric that aren't plain Ts and I have to say they are lifesavers on hot summer days! I can't imagine wearing a knit top in weather > 30 degrees.

Like Angie said the longevity of these tops isn't great. I look for cheap ones at BigW and Target - they often have quite a nice selection!

That's such a pretty top.. I love the aqua green, yellow and tea rose colours. I hope you can try it on and take a photo for us.

I hear your dilemma, Ana and I am absolutely empathetic. Have you seen this particular top on? It looks great in the picture, but it’s not a visual I trust when it comes to that type of fabric. You’ll have to physically see if it passes the test. No sloppy lumps and bumps.

For all intensive purposes it’s a knitted top and not a T. If you’re fine with that type of thing lasting for one season only, go for it.

Good question Ana, I'd be interested to hear Angie's opinion on this too.

Hi Angie!

Okay, I already know your stance on t-shirts. I was wondering about wearing a dressier t-shirt type top?

I really like this top:

http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Brows...../12678.jsp

I know, it's basically a glamorized t-shirt. But what if the only way I wore it was tucked into a high waisted full cotton skirt with sandals and a chunky bracelet or necklace for summer? I wouldn't wear it with shorts or clamdiggers (I actually have some cute summer tops for that), but I've always kind of admired the look of a nice, "dressed up" tee tucked into skirts.

Last summer was awful, I was so hot and unhappy, especially around August. I'm trying to find some cooler, more casual (washable) looks to wear for this summer. On the list are sundresses and skirts, but I'm trying to find tops to wear with those skirts.

Thank you!
