*sigh* Suit is a whole different story... I think he may have a dressy belt somewhere. We actually need to go suit shopping but will probably put it off till NAS. I just wanted to get something for daily use because his favorite belt is falling apart. If you say that would work, that's great!
Should I try looking for a belt that can work with both jeans AND suit? Is that possible at all?

The Cole Haan belt is great, Marianne. BR belts are fine too. It’s not quite refined enough for a suit belt though. Were you thinking of putting that fire out as well?

Angie, it's another clueless-about-men's-clothes question from me. I'll have some shopping time this week and I would like to get my dh a new belt among other things - something simple that could function in both smart casual and dressier outfits. I checked the Nordies site, and the price range is quite big - not that I am ready to shell out for a Ferragamo belt, but I was just wondering if it makes a difference. I was thinking of something like this:
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/28.....8&P=1
Do you have any flop-proof favorites? And should I wait until the half-yearly sale?
Thank you!
