I like sarah's suggestions as well. Go for the fun shoes! A very pregnant woman ought to have some excitement, right (other than the water breaking kind)? You could also wear a pashmina that ties in with the shoes - target has always has a variety of colors.

I'm sure you will look amazing in whatever you wear! Have a great time!

Sarah's advice is great! I'd go with a cream pashmina--if you don't already have one, that color should be easy to find on your lunch break, and cream would go with any of combination of accessories you choose.

Patience,
I'd do your fun shoes since that's what you want to wear. I'd wear pearls and carry a cream clutch with it, since it sounds like the red clutch and pink flower won't go together.
If you don't want to wear those shoes, wear your cream/black print ones and carry the red clutch. Pearls.
I think a Pashmina will work fine. If you want to wear textured hose, try a nude fishnet or a black micro fishnet or texture.
Is it unreasonable to pack both options and decide the day of what you want to wear?

Eek. Definite time crunch now. Okay, pearls it is. I will experiment. I'm afraid I'm not going to have time to take pictures and post as we are leaving mid-day tomorrow. I'll see what I can do.

Shoes-- do you think the flower strappy ones will work? The flower is more pink than red so I don't think they will work with the red clutch. It would have to be cream or pewter clutch. Those are definitely the shoes I want to wear but I'm a little afraid it won't all mash, if that makes sense. (Julie, I am also concerned about the lawn but I think all the shoes will have the same issue. Good idea about the flats.)

P.S. Julie, you have made my day. ;)

Lastly, if I wear pumps, what about adding textured hose or micro fishnets to jazz things up and for warmth?

I have *no idea* what to look for in a wrap. Would a simple pashmina work?

I'll have a quick opportunity at lunch today to get some shopping in so any purchases would need to be made then.

I LOVE those shoes Patience, do you need to worry about heels sinking into the lawn? I'm useless at picturing the bags but I really like the sound of the shoes with the flower, the shorter strand of pearls and perhaps a red wrap to bring your colour scheme together. Do you have a pair of those fold away ballet flats you can pop in your clutch? I attended a wedding at 37 weeks with DD1 and was so happy to have a flat shoe to change into.

I now how easy it is to have a crisis of confidence in your last trimester. However from the pictures you have posted you are the most stylish pregnant lady I have ever seen. YOU WILL LOOK AMAZING.

I love those shoes! Maybe add the red clutch and pearls?

I also like the idea of the black peep toes, red clutch and pearls.

Can you assemble a few different looks that we could vote on?

That's a gorgeous dress, Patience! Very maternity flattering - I am rather envious of it! I vote pearls as well.

As a fellow pregnant lady, I'd advise having at least a wrap to keep you warm if needed. Shivering and shaking can really take the fun out of an evening and babies don't always keep us warm at the right times!

Definitely pearls, Patience. Try out both lengths and see which works best. KILLER shoes, btw.

Chunky pearls are the first thing that came to mind. Or I could do a longer strand, or a longer strand wrapped a few times to create shorter layered necklace with smaller pearl size. I also have a necklace that has a pewter chain with a smalller scale bib of black onyx beads. No cocktail rings. That's about it except for this which doesn't seem super dressy:

http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/30.....6&P=1

Shoe-wise, I am realizing that my dressier shoes are not exactly fall-ish. I like Tanya's red and cream idea but the cream shoes have a wooden heel.

The wedding is evening and outdoors but I was kind of thinking my little reactor would keep me warm. Maybe this is wishful thinking but I'm not sure what the alternative would be.

I guess I'm looking for the un-obvious solution.

I would pick a combo of red and cram for shoes/purse; wither your cream snakeskin peep-toes with the red patent clutch or red shoes and ivory clutch.

Jewelry could be pearls, silver, black... A necklace should be plenty, but you can always add a cocktail ring as Ana suggested.

Patience, what about your chunky pearl necklace for jewelry? And maybe a cocktail ring, if you have one. Is the wedding in the evening? Have you decided what you are wearing as a cover up, or are you going to skip that?

I'm going to a wedding this weekend, wearing this dress:

http://i282.photobucket.com/al.....G_1134.jpg

How to accessorize? I got a few responses a while back but not too many. (Actually, I have no idea what to pack for the weekend.)

Shoes:
http://www.amazon.com/Via-Spig.....B001EO78T2

or red pumps or black peep toe or cream snakeskin peep-toe.

Clutch-wise, I'd prefer to go with something I already have which includes red patent large envelope style, ivory sashed style, pewter gathered style or black, pewter and gold sequined envelope. I guess I could get something new if it's inexpensive but I don't have much time.

What about jewelry? I'm rather at a loss with this.

Except for the shoes, I feel a bit ho-hum about the whole thing but being 7 months pregnant, I want to keep it simple.

Thanks in advance.
