If I am out shopping for Hubalicious or kids, I see loads of lovely items ;). YLF has actually helped me quite a bit in this scenario, because I used to buy a bunch of cheap items that fit ok, just to buy something. Now I wait for what I love, frustrating as it can be.</p> <p>I know you didn't ask, but I think it would be lovely to buy your mom something that you think is beautiful for her as a sweetly thoughtful gift. So, I think it has to be a balance. I can say that if I go shopping without a list in mind, I'm more apt to buy things that I don't need. I've learned over time that I shop more effectively, and come home with less impulse/unnecessary purchases if I've researched before I buy (looking online at websites to see if there are items I'm interested in checking out in person) or if I have a specific item in mind (I'm looking for metallic low-heeled sandals or a black flared knee length or midi skirt, for example.)
