This style runs small, providing just the right cheeky effect when matched with dresses and skirts. A timeless and ageless item that comes in a variety of washes.
This is a very cute jacket but it did not fit me well at all. I went to the store to try it on based on the positive reviews. I started with an XS, way too small, then on to a S which I still could not button. The M fit but then all the proportions were off. I am 5’2″, 112 lbs. 32D with a muscular build. It would work for someone with a more slender build than I have.
I have the Current/Elliot snap jacket in a 2 (medium) which is a little roomy so I may return it. I also ordered the Madewell Goldrush Jacket in an XS and will update once I receive it.
I own this jacket in a medium wash (purchased through Nordstroms). It is very comfortable and soft and I am wearing the heck out of it. I did purchase it in a medium because I will be layering sweaters under it. It is not a super cropped style (hits me at my high hip) but that is ok as I find it to be more versatile that way. I will purchase a more cropped jacket later but I find this works well with pants, and dresses.
I need to correct my previous post. I own this in a large – not a medium. Since it is a junior item and my normal misses size is an 8 on tops I went with the large. Sorry for misposting the size.
I ordered and just received this jacket in a small. At the same time I ordered a Nordstrom’s Juniors Jolt jacket, also in small but white. This BP jacket is the better fit of the two. (The Jolt is too big through the chest.) The color is a very light blue denim but pretty evenly faded. I think it will be great with black but wish it were available in white.
Like Meredith said, this jacket is not super cropped and hits me at the top of the hip bone. It is fitted rather than boxy.
