Outfit 5 in the series on my travel capsule for a 4 week trip

We had a great day with Inge and forum member Approprio in Amsterdam. We deliberately stayed off the high street, shopping up a storm in all sorts of smaller boutiques and specialized stores. Inge bought two amazing ink and white striped tops and a gorgeous necklace. Approprio bought a fun necklace too. I got a brilliant fitted denim jacket in the lightest of blues with white metal buttons.

I bust out my favourite blue jeans of all time — the infamous jodhpur jeans — and combined them with a white cotton jumper, white loafers, sea foam leather jacket and turquoise bag.

Ooh, such fun! I am so loving these posts. Your shopping outfit is perfect Angie. Those jodhpur jeans always have a wow factor and they look smashing with the fabulous seafoam jacket (you had better hide that when we meet in London as I’m planning to steal it!).
I adore the photo of you, Approprio and Inge. You are in sync walking Love Inge’s magenta trench and Rio’s fab blazer. And a shout out to Greg for the wonderful photography as usual.

I am with you as far as staying off THE shopping street goes. I tend to enjoy the smaller shops, unique to the city or neighborhood best.

You could entitle this one “Let’s go shopping…”…It could be shopping anywhere in the world…what fun!…I love your blue topper, jodpher jeans and tour bag…Inge has the color of the beautiful peonies in my yard in her lucious coat and Approprio brings the perfect print…

Gosh how fun does that look!! Love those jeans! Would steal them in a heartbeat but they look too wonderful on you to do that!! ;-). You have such a knack for not only finding the right color and texture but also just the right silhouette. That white sweater is perfect and so fresh with the blues. What really loves you. Ooh, so much fun to see all three of you having fun together! (Inge, I recognize the trench, jeans, booties and scarf ) Your purchases sound great, cannot wait to see them in action!
And how fun all three of you wearing white footwear!
Lucky Amsterdam to see your “infamous” jeans in action because they are quite famous IMO Angie you look as fresh as a daisy in these soft whites and blues!
And now I can see that your hair is lighter – perfect for a soft look.
I have a question about AT sweater: how are the sleeves hold up? I found that in Gap knitwear and knits the sleeves stretch too much for my liking to the point of me feeling not-fab in them. No such problem with AT knitwear?

Love the photo of the 3 sexy ladies walking purposefully towards the shopping destination! You guys look hot! I absolutely love your moto jacket – beautiful refreshing colour, wonderful fit and great detailing. And I do love those jeans as well. The crisp combination of dark blue denims with soft white sweater become the perfect canvas for the green jacket to come alive.

Thanks for the kind words, ladies. We’re having a WONDERFUL time in Amsterdam. The weather has for the most part been glorious.

YES. Liz, Inge and I all wore comfortable white shoes for the day. Go Team White Shoes. We walked at a fast pace throughout the day, so I felt right at home.

Approprio, I haven’t bought the blue boots yet and it WAS a grand day. See you in London.

Sveta, the AT white pullover is fabulous quality. It has remained uncreased in my suitcase – which is unbelievable. And the sleeve welts are tight thereby holding their position when I scrunch them up. I think you’ll like the top.

Marlene 1, there is one gold belt in my travel capsule and that’s it. I’m enjoying a little belt-free style at the moment – especially since I’m on holiday. But the gold belt is being worn. It simply depends on the outfit.

Jackie, if I could magically create a pair of jodhpur jeans for you – I would.

We had such a ball, and it was absolutely wonderful meeting you, Approprio. Thanks for introducing us to all the smaller boutiques and interesting stores.
That picture is genius, Greg, catching us all three stepping out with the same foot. We walked over 14 kilometres in our white footwear, Fabbers, hurrah once again for super comfortable shoes!

Angie – You know how much I love your jodhpur jeans, and I adored the entire outfit. That sea foam colour is divine on you, and the combination with the turquoise bag looks so zippy.
Approprio – Love your new Panama hat, I have a feeling it will go with everything in your wardrobe.
