They look sharp when tailored well and made in a good fabric. I move around alot as a therapist working with children, but feel equally confident in them when I’m chairing a board meeting for my nonprofit corp. Yes!! Plus, I have to agree with other posters: that is smart casual, not business casual, and most standard offices have clear policies about no shorts at all.

I wear shorts with heels (I do shorter shorts too sometimes, but bermudas for church or other dressy situations) a lot, and get compliments every time, but I never see anyone I know wear it too, even though a lot of them have the figures for it.

I actually wore black bermudas with black heels and a pussy bow blouse today. I felt very YLF-approved. =o)
