Just saw the question above about why we check these blogs. I'm fascinated and encouraged by the creativity. Audi's was the first where I saw someone using dresses, tops, skirts, etc. with a totally different eye. It's refreshing to see how many women out there are having fun with their clothes, have developed their own style independent of the media, think outside the box, and look great. I've been inspired to start crafting some of my own accessories & layering more creatively! Now if I can save up for some of the great shoes all these ladies seem to wear....

I'm inspired by http://geekthreads.blogspot.com/ - she has some great how-to articles in addition to her daily posts! Her tips on how to put together different colors to make them look coordinated instead of detached from each other have been a huge help to me!

Love YLF, especially the flop proof mom on the go outfits - good for people with dressing issues who aren't mums too - just flop-proof really!

I like following this lady's blog - she's based in East Anglia (UK) and is partial to a bargain, but has good style, proving you don't need lots of cash to look good: http://shoppinginsuffolk.blogspot.com/

Wow! I know i'm days late but I just got caught up from all the posts I've missed while I was out of town. Angie, thank you so much for the mention; I'm flattered! I love that I encourage VC to start posting here; she always leaves such thoughtful comments on my blog, especially when I talk about weight loss and exercise.

Wow, thank you everyone again! I love reading fashion blogs; it's so fascinating to see all the various styles and attitudes of regular women, far more interesting than the fashion magazines.

I love the blogs that have clear pictures, go into the details and post lots of shots.

I also like it when they list the sources and their prices.. so you get a feel for what it cost :D

Actually I just started my own blog sorta doing that! :)

Thank you so much for the shout-out, Angie! :D

I love Kasmira's blog, and I also like Academichic a lot. Of course I check in on the ladies above on a daily or semi-daily basis, too. I like www.acatofimpossiblecolour.blogspot.com. Andrea is a writer, but she also has a really cute gamine style that I admire.

I started a daily outfit blog because I thought it would be a really fun challenge and give me something else to do besides just work and school. I've also met a lot of women in math/science/tech who are really stylish dressers, and I wanted to feature them and also show that women in these fields don't always fall into the "dowdy, mannish" stereotype that I think exists out there among some people.

Another blog I read is http://www.cardiganempire.com/, and while Racheal doesn't post her own outfits daily, she happens to be posting interviews this week with other fashion bloggers who do.

I also like Imogen's blog for its explanations of why certain things work.

I enjoy reading fashion blogs to see how others use color, texture, structure, and variety in their outfits.

Oh wow, I so did not expect to come home and find my name on your blog! That was a surprise.

I absolutely adore Kasmira's blog and was so amazed when I saw that she takes so many of her awesome photographs herself, and her energy and experimentation is so inspiring.

I read "outfit a day"-type style blogs for a couple reasons. Some, like Kasmira or Nadine's blog, I read because the outfits they create are nearly like art. Others I read because I love seeing the gradual progression of other people's styles as they try new things. I honestly find looking at the style of ordinary, everyday people to be much more inspiring than looking at fashion magazines. It's just a much more accessible way for me to think about fashion, or how I might apply a look I admire to my own style.

I started blogging myself mostly as a way to track what I was wearing, and then as a way to try to push myself farther. It's actually kind of cool to look back at what I wore six months ago or more to see how my preferences and comfort zone has changed. I definitely don't pose myself as an expert, though. As you know, I'm a slow adopter and am also very reluctant to try certain shapes on my body. I'm just slowly in the process of figuring things out.

Anyway, thanks for the feature and for the sweet comments, Angie!
