I LOVE RAY BAN WAYFARERS! They are just so so classic! I was in Paris 2 weeks ago and the stylish Parisian men and women are still wearing their Ray Ban Wayfarers and look so good wearing it!

The older women wear them with their work clothes and look so elegant, and the younger ones just look so cool.

Paris and Milan fashion week also saw lots of people wearing them, they are just amazing sunglasses.

I have about 13 pairs of sunglasses and 4 of them are Ray Ban Wayfarers. I have 2 pairs of the Large 2140 in black and tortoise, I have one pair of Ray Ban split color 2143 wayfarers with black on top and clear on bottom (like in the middle picture you posted) and one pair of small black ones. I want a colored one now, after going to Paris, I fell in love with them all over again, and if you love them, i saw wear them

I got the classic black wayfarers but they were made by “B n’ L Ray Ban”, and the lenses were made by american army factories some decades ago.. there is not going to be another pair of such shades, so I feel a bit lucky… I think they were my father’s and I learned the truth about them some days ago [!]

I don’t get the Wayfarer appeal. I too had a pair years ago and wore them a lot. I’m prefer Jackie O big sunglasses, wear them a lot, all year long, and would never, ever want to be without them. Right now I am wearing big round black sunglasses. The Wayfarer look is too retro, un-glam and childish looking. Even the best looking celebs can’t really pull them off.

Wayfarers are also the sunglasses that Audrey Hepburn worn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. That woman was just endlessly chic.

I hope to see yours, Angie! I actually had a pair of white knock-offs in college before I came to US – I didn’t know it at the time. I just liked the style.
I never liked wrap-around style of sunglasses until I bought my first pair last year, and I am a full convert. I wear sunglasses all the time in summer and love the coverage.

Hey, I have a pair of the smaller, more modern Way-farers with white frames, black arms and mirrored lenses! They are FABULOUS. I feel like a rockstar in them. And they’re super comfortable too!
