You are right, these are lovely! I got them in nude at Lord & Taylor. They are extremely comfortable. HOWEVER: not for narrow feet! I have pretty narrow feet and they kept sliding through. So, not for the narrow-footed among us, but if you have regular or wide-ish feet, these will be great for you. I gave mine away to a friend and she loves them.

Thanks for the review of these sandals! I have been looking for something like them for a long time–your comment about the leather’s ability to stretch to accommodate a wider foot sealed the deal for me. Must get my hands on that brown pair!

I tried these sandals on today in pewter, brick/orange, and bark/brown. I found them at my local Macy’s and Dillards. I can totally vouch for the comfort factor.

Unfortunately, for this narrow-footed girl (9.5N), they were a “miss.” between the 9M and 9.5M, I couldn’t get a good fit. Either they were too short or too loose. Oh well.

If they did fit, I would have gone for the pewter ones. I think that they’re the best looking of the lot. The brick/orange looked cheap and weird, the bark/brown and black were too dark.

Thanks for de-lurking MLE and we are wedge sandal twins! You’re spot on about this glorious metallic shade that’s right in the middle of champagne and pewter and looks good with both metals. It’s extremely versatile.

Deb, I personally don’t mix my metals because I prefer it that way. But it’s totally acceptable to mix all metals these days. It’s not a faux pas.

I bought a pair of similar strappy wedges by the same label several years back, and they were and still are very very comfortable, so I think all wedges by the label are worth a try if comfort is key.

I agree, straps can be cruel to the toes…I am glad you found something that works for your feet…fun, and cute:)
