You have to wear this belt quite loosely for both belts to stay adequately “separated”. Mine does not bunch in the middle when I wear it and I like my criss-cross at the back. I like how skinny belts look on me (sometimes), but by mid-day I find them so annoying I end up removing them. I imagine it's less of an issue when the belt has a proper resting place.
