This is funny because my husband makes fun of how many pair of jeans I own. In my closet right now are 28 pair of jeans. Citizens, sevens, joes, hudsons, true religion, big star and levis. My favorite are the 501 destroyed boyfriend jeans I have 3 pairs depending on how baggy I want to go. I also love my 2 pair of Dojo seven jeans (light and dark). I’m a jean freak! I am trying to get down to 7 or 10, and I have sold over 20 pairs in the last 3 mths on Ebay. I just can’t walk past a good pair of jeans. Love them, can’t live without them. I do have to say I do wear my denim 4 or 5 times a week, and if I go out I change into another pair.

I have 30 pairs. Mostly True Religion, Hudsons, Citzens of Humanity, Guess, Ann Taylor and Rock and Republic. All different washes , a few boot leg, most are skinny’s or straight leg, several capri length. A white pair, a red pair, several black.

I wear the boot cut in winter with…well boots. I wear the skinny and straight leg when the weather allows for open toes, pumps or strappy heels, the rest of the year.

Having all this denim is a staple in my wardrobe for sure…however I wear a dress or skirt at least twice a week year around because I love them also. I don’t wear denim everyday. I do mix up dressy slacks as well.So I guess I wear denim about 3 to 4 times a week

Wow, I’m with Bonnie. I have about 20 pairs and I really only keep about 10 or 12 in the rotation (varying washes, styles and heel lengths).

I wear jeans basically every day, but that’s no excuse for holding onto a bunch of pairs I never wear. Maybe I should just accept it and donate the ones I keep around for the time “when I lose a few pounds.” Whenever that time rolls around, the jeans will be out of style anyway! And maybe it’s okay if I don’t still wear the same jeans I wore when I was 24…

Great conversation! It’s always interesting to hear how much stuff other people have.

Hi Angie- I think that my Diesels are Fanke not Wanker- don’t ask me where I got Wanker from- I just always called them that. I also have a 13 year old pair of men’s Diesels that I love-
Anyway, my question is about a pair of J Brand bootcut- I had them shortened before I found you all and the lenght always bothered me- now I know why-not PPL. I would like to have them made into clamdiggers for summer and to tuck into boots in the winter. Does anyone know if it is also best to have them tapered and shortened? Thank you ladies!

Four Newport News jeans — one dark blue, one black, med width; wide leg grey which I’m not sure about and a yellow pair.

I should say I’ve been losing weight so I’m not investing in the perfect pair of jeans until I get down a bit more.
