Boots tend to shorten and widen a look. For large women I think boots need to be worn under pants to keep a longer line. But, go you thin girls--I would if I could! I have to wait a bit longer to embrace this look though, it is still 90F+. It seems silly to be wearing boots when the temps are so high but once it starts to cool off, I will be all over this look. And if you decide to tuck them into jeans, you'll need really skinny jeans that are ankle length. It makes tucking easiest. Just keep this pair of jeans for tucking purposes and don't worry about needing to wear them with normal shoes if you don't prefer that look. I got a pair of cute little flat boots with tassel ties on the sides a long time ago but was disappointed that they did not come all the way to my knees. They only come up about 3/4 of the way and then stop. Because of the tassels, I can't really wear them under my pants without a funky bulge on either side of my calves, but I'm not really sure if I can tuck them in either. I just have no idea how to wear them and I need to figure it out before winter comes!
