I am an art teacher and don't feel comfortable wearing shorter skirts even though I have nice legs. I feel more covered up with leggings. I haven't noticed other teachers wearing leggings though and I am waiting for a little cooler weather to wear mine. I say that if you really love leggings the key is to buy a great empire waisted tunic that reaches your mid thigh at least. I will wear simple Mary Janes, gladiator sandals or boots with mine but not a real high heel. Good luck! To Micah,

It is very feminine and attractive, but not too sexy. Since they are a chic look, Lisa, it is to be expected that people will look at you. It is a much more attractive style than the ho-hum stuff normally worn. Hold your head high and be confident. I like them best ankle length (the most slimming) with a tunic/skirt/whatever above the knee. Longer just doesn't look right, mid-calf is a bit flirty and youthful, but higher gets a bit sexy.
